Abstract

|
An association and interrelationship of aplastic anemia (AA) and paroxysmal nocturnal
hemoglebinuria (PNH) has been firmly established, and case in which AA preceded the
manifestation of PNH or vice versa are well decumented. The most important one of
common findings is impaired bone marrow function which is frequently found in both of
the above diseases.
In the present paper we bring the report on a 27 year old male patient who was
diagnosed of AA-PNH syndrome occurred in the course of AA (6 years later).
